Works for what I purchased it for June 22, 2010 W. Donaldson (Bowie, MD) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am not one to iron very often so I don't want an ironing board. This product works great for me since it folds up neatly and doesn't take up much space. I've used it a few times and it has worked just fine.
sufficient, but could be better May 18, 2010 Christabelle (Chicago) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This product does what it's supposed to do, but I did not like the fact that the top fabric was not sewn tightly enough onto the backing, so it bunches up - especially near the edges. While ironing, I had to shift my clothes, etc. away from the bunched up areas and that made it harder to use. I also would have appreciated a more "sticky" backing as it slides around a bit while you're ironing.
Horrible May 11, 2010 Purple Haze (Santa Cruz, Ca) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Sooo if you're planning on using this on business trips for your clothes or something along those lines, don't. They only reason I am not sending this back is because 1) it's not worth the price of shipping and 2) I can still use a corner of it for sewing little bags and such (small projects). It looks like a really bad baby-changing mat. There is waay too much material and no way to make it nice and flat. There are these huge wrinkles in it (and ironically enough you can't just iron them out!) as if they made it with too much material so that you could fold it up easily. Like I said, it's okay for the small projects that I do, but absolutely horrible for anything larger than a couple of inches.
handy for small jobs and touch-ups March 9, 2010 Polly (TN, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I keep this on top of my dryer. It works great for touching up collars, pocket flaps, and clothes that don't need to look especially crisp. If there was a way to keep it from sliding around I would rate it 5 stars. I hate to lug out the full-sized ironing board.
not real impressed December 27, 2009 shog 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
How could a blanket substitute a board? It defies logic and appeals to my curiosity. Turns out it's not fantastic at laying flat, and the underside is bare foam that's waiting to get gouged out in a rough environment. I got it because i have very little space. Things can be ironed on it, it takes up about half the space of a mini ironing board, but I'm not ready to throw away my ironing board.
